This is an old family recipe my mother always made, as have I. You can make adjustments if you want to make it healthier.

Well, here in Florida it’s not yet soup weather, but I will still make some soon.

It’s not a quickie, but makes a special dessert if you have a holiday party or just for your family.

Here is a lighter treat to enjoy, courtesy of a wonderful cook, Carolyn West.

I love fall but not the pumpkin spice debate. I make a great cobbler which is good for peaches or apples or strawberry rhubarb.

I posted this recipe on Facebook for National Peanut Butter Day, and people loved it.

My mother used to make this “frito pie” my sisters and I loved it. So did my kids.

If you would like to skip turkey this year, this cranberry chicken might be just right.

I have made Swedish pancakes every Christmas morning, served with lingonberries, in recognition of Steve’s Swedish background.

Corn, I have learned, is truly a Fall Food. Not in Florida so much, but most places.
