Dear Friend,

God has done so much in the past few months—I will try to give you some quick glimpses.

I just returned from a week in Indonesia celebrating and advancing this remarkable vision and effort for providing funds for our ministry in hard places in Asia and Africa.

An Indonesian business family who met Jesus through our ministry decided they would take some major steps to help provide for our staff there, freeing them to focus on winning, building and sending believers for God’s Kingdom. The ministry grew greatly, so the family decided to share the concept with other business leaders—which spread throughout Southeast and South Asia and then to Africa.

This event was a celebration and an even greater effort to keep “igniting” new opportunities. Some 150 people, representing 32 nations rejoiced, listened and learned, and laid out plans to expand to more countries. I was asked to give a message on Leaving a Legacy. Of course, I used Steve as a model.

The Ignite leaders have considered Steve as the “igniter” for this approach—they played a video of Steve explaining his vision for this highly effective funding approach for the ministry. There’s a link for that video as well. judydouglass.com/honoringsteve

In May, Steve was honored by National Religious Broadcasters with a Hall of Fame award, which I received in his place. The video link gives NRB’s reason for the honor.

June brought our anniversary and Father’s Day. You can read why Steve was so worth waiting for here.

You will be touched by the words of our children for Steve on Father’s Day as well here. And I celebrated his July 12 birthday with some of my favorite things about him. You can read that here.

Two visits each at Josh’s and Michelle’s gave me lots of sweet fun with my grands, as well as great conversations with their parents.

I will head to Montana for two weeks to end the summer with Debbie’s family this week.

You have been so kind to me, with encouraging words, with continuing investment in my ministry, and most of all with your prayers. Between ministry and family and “time to grieve,’ I have stayed busy. I know I will never not miss Steve’s presence, serving me, encouragement, and love, but I do know God still has work for me.
