Let me start with the most important words I have for you: THANK YOU!!!
I am deeply grateful for your partnership with me—your prayers, your financial gifts, your friendship, your faithfulness. You have blessed me beyond my imagination.
What have I been doing?
We are almost ready to go to press with our second Pioneer Women of Cru book. Volume 1 received great reviews of the 15 stories of some of the women who played key roles in the early efforts to begin and expand Cru’s efforts to win, build, and send staff as evangelists and disciplers, first in the U.S. and then to the world.
In Volume 2 we tell 18 more stories, this time focusing more on global pioneers. It is scheduled to release as part of Cru’s 75th Anniversary this year. Our desire in telling these stories is first to glorify God and how He has used some of His daughters to expand His Kingdom. We desire to affirm the courage, creativity, and faithfulness of these women who, as singles and with their husbands, took bold steps. And we pray all of us, and especially our new younger staff, will be encouraged and motivated to say “yes” to whatever God calls them to.
Please pray especially for Carolyn West, Jason Weimer, and the team as we are in crunch time to complete stories, edit, design, and print.
Colorado is always a place of connection for me: It’s where I met Jesus, and where Campus Crusade gathered for staff conferences for many years. I have several family members there. For years Steve and I met with the leaders of various Christian ministries there. And the beauty always invites me to deep connection with our Lord.
In June several hundred of Cru’s faithful friends, prayer warriors, financial partners and new people came together in Vail to celebrate what God is doing and to catch a vision of new opportunities. I had the privilege to share some of my Cru journey (62 years now) with the women, and I loved refreshing long-time friendships and meeting new people. I was grateful to connect with some of you who are receiving this letter. I’m sharing two messages I think will bless you (judydouglass.com/GCG2026).
You know about my prodigal ministry. We recently had our annual Worldwide Prodigal Prayer Day, and once again, as people around the world prayed, God moved, comforted, encouraged, loved, rescued and redeemed. You can read more about it in my latest First Wednesday letter (judydouglass.com/first-wednesday/june2026).
Here’s one of the testimonies from a grateful parent:
“After 5 years of praying God has broken the chains of addiction and a toxic relationship in his life! In this new season, Z. has graduated, is starting a new job in August, and has a new Christian girlfriend. Please pray that they both put Jesus first and grow deeply in their love for Him and for one another. Thank you for your prayers!”
