Wonder: Worship Around the World

This morning I loved worshiping with sisters and brothers from the Pacific Islands.

Island beats. Clapping and rhythm. Arms raised.I have the most amazing calling and responsibility: to love and encourage our ministry staff around the world. That means I get to visit with them—often at conferences and gatherings. And almost always there are times of worship. Styles and languages vary. Sometimes I recognize the music though I can’t understand their words. Other times it is all unfamiliar but oh so beautiful.

It surely is a glimpse of heaven as every nation and tribe and tongue come together to lift our voices praising the Lamb, filled with the Spirit, glorifying the Father.
