Giving Blessings and Thanks

I love to give and receive blessings.For the past two months I have loved posting A Blessing for Your Day each day.  Many have said they were encouraged by those blessings.And just think!  God tells us that we have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ.  (Ephesians 1:3)  I’m sure I could never come close to passing on that many blessings.So now that it is November, I think I would like to do a month of Giving Thanks.After all, Paul exhorts us in Ephesians 5:21:  And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.Lord willing, every day in this month of Thanksgiving, I will post on Facebook and Twitter something for which I am thankful.  Hopefully it will be an encouragement to you to daily say “Thank You, Lord.”Here’s the first one:  Giving Thanks today:  God's relentless pursuit rescued me and redeemed me and restored me.What will you give thanks for today? C 2011 Judy Douglass
